1. After 1 week, I had my first phone interview, which lasted about an hour. The questions included brain teasers, basic technical skills, how to test a "random generator tool," some C/C++ coding questions like sorting a single linked list and reversed printing, and questions like "why do you want to leave your current company?" and "why do you think you are qualified for this job?" It wasn't hard.

2. After 1 week, I got an on-site interview with 4 people one by one, totaling close to 4 hours. This included a manager and a director. All of them asked me "why do you want to leave your current company?" I said I want to work on cutting-edge technology and get better pay. The questions also included basic concepts and simple coding in C/C++ and Python, and projects I had done before. They told me what they were doing and gave me a scenario, asking me to figure out how to test it. This was also not hard.

3. After 1 week, I had a final phone interview with their executive director. Most of the questions were popular behavioral ones. He especially asked me to introduce a project I did with Python a few years ago. That was also easily done.

4. After 1 week, I received a rejection letter because I lacked Python experience. I understand they want someone with experience in the tools and languages they are currently using, who can work on their project immediately. But sometimes it's hard to find that right person. And even if they find that person, they would still need to learn the new system and environment, which requires training and studying.
