Cons: VPs lack a strategic view and are coasting until retirement. There is zero focus on solutions anymore; everything is pure box-moving.

Pros: You can be part of a nice work team and enjoy your day to day. Payments on time. Opportunity to learn.

Cons: I was initially drawn to Dell by the promise of long-term career growth and stability. When I joined, I was told that my role would provide the foundation for a lasting career at the company. I consistently performed well, maintained strong relationships with my team, and was always compliant and committed. My work was appreciated by colleagues, and I genuinely enjoyed contributing to our projects. However, without warning, Dell initiated a workforce reduction, and I was let go—not due to performance issues (as was explicitly stated), but simply due to the company’s “future direction.” I was notified on a Monday that my last day would be that same week’s Friday, leaving me little time to process or plan. While I understand that businesses make tough decisions, the lack of transparency, foresight, and employee commitment was disappointing. I expected better from a company of Dell’s intended reputation.
