Pros
  1. Work-Life Balance (When you clock out, you clock out).

Obviously, there may be a time when something serious happens that must be sorted out; however, those instances are few and far between.

  1. Community.

The work group at Dell has a wide range, from early 20s to 50s+.

It will seem very different from Google's and Facebook's in regard to the age demographic, but it's actually pretty diverse when it comes to that.

Cons
  1. There aren't many cons when it comes to working at Dell. The only thing that I can think of is that the promotion path is slower than at other "newer" tech companies.
Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Dell is a company that has been around for a while now, and they have figured out the formula for happy employees.
