Pros

Dell produces hardware and software technology products. The environment is fast-paced, with many young people. It draws pretty heavily from the UT market, offering a good benefits package and industry-average to above-average salary.

Cons

Leadership seems a bit confused. Culture can be very cut-throat the higher you climb versus supportive. Training is mostly limited to free courses and in-house coursework. Rarely do they spend budget for outside seminars and technology coursework.

Advice to Management

Managers should lead their people to success, not be roadblocks or use their people to fall on their swords.
