Health insurance quality has dropped rapidly in the last few years, moving from a traditional "full service" plan to a high deductible plan and health spending accounts. The EMC merger creates a high risk of layoffs in the next 2-3 years as redundancies are identified in shared services (IT, HR, and so forth).
