Pros

Good benefits, flexible hours, and some group and charitable activities.

Cons

Nightly calls and 24-hour email activity. There's no growth opportunity. Engineering is the worst place to work at Dell. Most of the development work is now in Taiwan. Engineers are always worried about losing their jobs. Wrong candidates seem to move up the ladder.
