The interview was conducted virtually over Zoom. It began with the other candidate and myself being introduced to the interviewers. We were then split up to complete both a technical and a competency-based interview with separate groups. I finished

The interview was very comfortable. It was for an internship, so they didn't ask anything advanced and kept the questions very general. I didn't get the position, but the feedback I received afterward helped a lot in future interviews.

This was a phone screening interview, the first stage in the interview process. I was told that if I passed this stage, I would be called in for a face-to-face interview. I will know within a week if I have an opportunity to progress.
