Dell has wide and good technical fronts to innovate and improvise solutions. The product offering range is quite wide, which makes it more difficult to keep quality. Innovation front initiatives are good to start thinking about, but not good enough to bring them to production.
Lacks commitment in whatever is started. Attrition rate is high in some groups, and no good attempt to retain good people is made. Hiring also targets average technical talent and pays less compared to other product companies. Internal promotions and hikes are very slow/low compared to when hired from outside. There is less management support in terms of crisis.
Need a more mature approach towards everything. Remove redundant processes. Need good work. Try better to retain good people. Target and offer better to high-grade technical strength; have enough trainings.
