Work culture feels service-based. Indian team members are treated as service providers by teams located across Europe/US, for example. Expectations of weekend support, late-night support, etc., are always from people working from the Indian timezone.

No exposure to higher management.

Only your direct reporting manager is accessible.

No proper HR department for your team.

HR representatives are accessible via a chatbot. So, if there is a sensitive issue that you may need to confide in your project/department HR, there is no process around it.
