Storage, Network, Cloud, and Virtualization (VMware technologies) are all good to learn.
Good working culture. Work from home facility. No late nights. No work pressure and micromanagement. Education site for learning technologies. Good environment. Team lunch/outing twice in a year.
Scope of automation is limited, depending on the project.
Hired for automation using for manual tasks.
Internal politics as usual.
Post Dell acquisition:
- Removed EMC benefits (interest-free loan)
- Medical insurance changed
- No food coupons
- Cab cost increased from 1000 to 2500 after Dell acquisition
It's good to implement automation at the team level rather than the whole product level, which is handled by two or three people.
Don't remove existing benefits, at least if you can't provide new ones.
