Pros

Employees have the option of flexible working, including hours and location.

Fully remote, hybrid, or flexible arrangements are still an option for employees in most teams, at a time when other companies are 'encouraging' employees to return to the office. This mostly depends on job function and specific team culture.

There seems to be a lot of delegation of culture setting to managers of teams.

Cons

Compensation is not the most competitive, especially given current economic conditions. There is a bit of bureaucracy and hoops when it comes to promotions and raises.

Advice to Management

Work on proactively improving compensation and offering other benefit packages. Upper management should work on including more employees from different orgs in activities and information to extend the feeling of connection.
