Pros
  1. Good compensation
  2. Good people
  3. Adequate leadership
  4. Ability to learn and evolve
  5. Adequate work pace
  6. Product company (as opposed to outsource)
  7. Easy availability of internal cloud resources
Cons
  1. The only option for the workstation/laptop is Windows, even for developers, which definitely sucks!
  2. Dependency on Windows products
  3. Sluggish and often inadequate IT support
Advice to Management

Please push through the ability for employees to work on Linux workstations.

Dell definitely loses a lot of money on developers spending time setting up complex Linux VM dev environments, which are latent and depend on VPN availability. The developers' productivity and efficiency sags considerably.

I spent almost 3 months finding the most efficient way of setting it up, and it is still way less efficient than having Linux on one's workstation.
