Good digital transformation ahead with EMC/VMWare/Pivotal acquisition. Cloud adoption. Great talents working with you. You'll always find someone smart that helps you. Very solid company. Most of the managers I had, in Brazil and US, were very competent in people management. Pluralsight trainings. Internal leadership trainings. Good amount of agile-related trainings. Opportunity to work with people across the globe. I traveled to three continents based on project needs. Able to choose my career path based on my objectives and company support. Open doors with any team member, from a VP to any other peer across the globe. Quarterly offsites – a day off with the team sponsored by the company. Recently, with Eldorado's move from PUC, able to work from home once or twice a week.
Although the salary is fair, the other benefits are pretty basic.
The Eldorado site sucks:
Although work-life balance improved in the last two years, a bad project can kill it. There were cases of huge overtime, including weekends.
Still a very project-oriented company.
A lot of bureaucracy.
Engineers often work on paperwork.
Need to pay more attention to software development practices.
Higher-level roles require a lot of politics, even if you are technical.
The Brazil site lacks strategic leadership positions in IT, making most important decisions be at HQ level.
Some managers are not technical as they should be.
To keep people around, the Brazil site should improve the facilities a lot. Engineers are creative workers and deserve more.

There were a total of 4 interviews. The first was a 15-minute phone call. After that, there was a technical interview (coding) and another technical interview (projects). Finally, there was an HR salary negotiation. I found their interview proces
