I have seen Dell through these years and feel while going private again, they somewhere forget the basic essence of the Dell environment, which was cherished and discussed positively by everyone. Please focus on basic employee policy, which is slowly and steadily vanishing and is creating disappointment.
Managers do not make extra effort to stop employees from leaving or understanding their problems. Management skill is lacked and is in question if senior employees are leaving with no one to care and listen to grievances. I have also seen personally in my case when I asked my manager where they saw me in the long run at Dell, and there was a question mark on their face.
Common, you don't have any future plans for the people you are working with. Everybody has future plans. I'm sure Michael Dell also has future plans for his company, then why can't managers? Very strange.
