Micromanagement is seen in many teams here. During my tenure, I have seen tech leads and managers giving undue advantage to their favorite employees.
Just don't hire incompetent tech leads and managers, since such people always degrade the standards of the project.
It's not too tough, if you know the core of all computer science topics and have a good grip over DSA and Networking. The HRs are very humble and ensure that the candidate is not panicked or overwhelmed by the process.
