The company is good, with a good work culture. However, at the ground level, all authority rests with the manager. They can either make you or break you.
So I joined Dell Technologies on July 17, 2019, as a Software Developer and worked in the AR module there.
If I talk about the company, it's good at a high level, but at the ground level, everything is in the manager's hands.
I worked so hard, spending 12-14 hours a day at work, and received shoutouts from the business as well.
Still, I was asked to leave the company, and HR forced me to write a resignation. I went into depression due to this. They did not even give me notice, and on my last day, I came to know that I was out of the company.
It was a pathetic experience.
They need to understand the employees' perspective as well. Don't be greedy.
It's not too tough, if you know the core of all computer science topics and have a good grip over DSA and Networking. The HRs are very humble and ensure that the candidate is not panicked or overwhelmed by the process.
The college placement for internships was conducted solely online. They did recruit many students, but I don't know about the conversion rate. However, I did learn that the company is very nice and has a good work culture.
The process consisted of: * 1 Online Aptitude round * 1 Coding round * 2 Interviews (1 technical and 1 HR round) The questions were average in difficulty. The process was held on the Unstop site and was smooth.
