Pros

Good work-life balance, great coworkers.

Cons

Low pay and benefits, return-to-office mandate, mediocrity thrives whilst high performers are not rewarded, very difficult to be promoted due to “budget constraints”.

Advice to Management

The only reason talent was being retained was due to the flexibility to work remotely. With that gone now, there is no reason for high performers to stick around.

Either bring back flexibility to work remote, or improve pay and benefits to retain talent.

Increase in responsibilities should also be met with a proportionate increase in compensation.
