I'm part of DELL EMC, DPD.
Pathetic management.
Very poor office facilities; the cafeteria does not have many options to eat. The pantry is also not managed well.
Some employees don't want to come out of their comfort zone and push new hires to take up challenges.
Leadership is not good. They need to focus on each individual instead of relying on legacy employees.
Less opportunities to learn, working in old projects and enhancements.
No hike or very less hike.
Promotion is a myth in this organization. Only those who butter directors will get promoted.
To get promotion, you have to resign. Management will come forward to offer you a promotion to hold you back.
Your work is not recognized.
Lots of internal politics and ego between teams.
Hardly any individual works here for company growth; it seems everyone just wants to make their job safe.
I have personally experienced my colleague telling me that you should not explain others about the internal design of your code; it makes them learn it. This means there is a replacement for you; they can come and fill your shoes.
So, basically, people here have settled like this for many years, like a frog inside a well.
Take feedback from each and every individual. Do not over-depend on one employee for all of your projects.
Empower employees.
Managers need to be trained well to hear their reportees' voices.
Recognize the contribution of every individual.
I joined the company through campus recruitment. Two interviews were scheduled on the same day. One was a technical round, and the other was an HR round. The results of the interviews were announced that same evening.
1st Round: Technical * Problem-solving and frontend tech stack questions (Angular, HTML, CSS) 2nd Round: Manager * Why did you leave your previous organization? * Why are you interested in this organization? * What are your expectations? *
It was a very good interview experience. In total, there were 2-3 rounds, which included managerial and technical rounds. All rounds were well organized, and the interviewers were friendly and encouraging.
