Working with Dell EMC storage, you get to work on the core of the storage domain. It is very complex, and once you somehow get adjusted to it, then any other thing is a piece of cake.
Legacy product, and to some extent, the product has been refactored but still uses most legacy components, adding complexity.
I personally felt the storage domain to be much more complex to work with, and I could only spend so much brainpower with much, much more compensation. After all, the earnings from the product are also significant.
Managing a big, complex product like any of the storage products Dell EMC has, management should work hard on documentation. It is seriously lagging.
Some silly web frameworks and UI frameworks possess so beautiful documentation, and those small frameworks are even okay without any documentation.
But storage, being such a complex thing, one should have even more documentation. Otherwise, it's the company's loss, as people spend years learning the product and by the time employees become valuable contributors, they resign.
I joined the company through campus recruitment. Two interviews were scheduled on the same day. One was a technical round, and the other was an HR round. The results of the interviews were announced that same evening.
1st Round: Technical * Problem-solving and frontend tech stack questions (Angular, HTML, CSS) 2nd Round: Manager * Why did you leave your previous organization? * Why are you interested in this organization? * What are your expectations? *
It was a very good interview experience. In total, there were 2-3 rounds, which included managerial and technical rounds. All rounds were well organized, and the interviewers were friendly and encouraging.
