Pros

Good brand recognition, good global presence. Okay laptops and PCs (not great, but okay).

Cons

If you are looking for a job working in the rapidly growing Cloud, SaaS, or AI markets, Dell is not the place for you. They are terrible in these areas. Dell is a hardware company, nothing more. They say they have software and services, but they're really, really bad at it. They don't know Cloud. They don't understand SaaS. And they don't know AI or how to leverage it to help grow the business.

Advice to Management

Get new leadership in Cloud, SaaS, and AI disciplines. The people who run these disciplines now have no idea what they're doing. They're all former EMC hardware guys pretending like they know how to develop software.
