Good company if you have a good manager.
First-time, awful, vengeful, petty individual promoted to manager in charge of a team of seasoned professionals. He tried to micromanage the team and rule by fear. He used favoritism to let one or two individuals skate by while holding unfair and different standards for the other team members. We knew this because the entire team would meet to talk about the manager's behaviors. Worse, our manager's manager did nothing to correct the issue despite multiple complaints from the team. Bad management is systemic.
Additionally, my complaint to HR was ignored. The team was disbanded, save for the lousy manager, who is still at Dell today. HR encouraged but blocked my attempts to move to another role, even though HR claimed they would help.
Employees complain for a reason, and companies need to listen, especially when there are so many more rewarding companies to work for.
Pretty easy 1 DSA question. That's all. LeetCode medium and very internal details about databases in general. Previous company questions and architecture details about company software. Pretty easy managerial round.
The interviewer was incredibly friendly and kind. The process was easy to set up, and she was very informed and able to answer all of my questions. I enjoyed being able to have the supportive environment.
Focuses on your past experiences, problem-solving skills, and how you handle specific situations. Questions go deeper into your skills, cultural fit, and how you would approach challenges specific to the role or company.
