Attended interview for Java Selenium on the 4th of August. The way they conducted the interview was horrible. They had called around 1000 candidates for interview, so they were not able to manage the crowd properly. My slot was at 2:30 PM, but when I entered there, I could see that people were waiting from 10:30 AM as well.

Anyhow, I got a chance to attend the interview at 6:15 PM. The interviewer did not ask many questions. She asked me what I worked on in my last project, and I explained. She asked some basic Selenium questions, and I answered. She did not even ask me to write a program, neither in Java nor Selenium.

The interview duration was only for 10 minutes. But she rejected me. How can she judge a candidate without asking anything?

The fact was that they were in a hurry to go home, so they were not selecting candidates for the next round. The irony was that around 100 candidates were in the waiting room at 6 PM, but within 30 minutes, they vacated the room by rejecting the candidates.

Even for some candidates, the HR guys were asking questions like, "What is a test plan?" and all.

In the evening, they made a plan and were giving feedback to maximum people, saying that, "You will get a call on Monday." For my friend, the interviewer itself told that you are rejected, but the HR guys gave feedback like you will be getting a call on Monday. How is it possible?

Simply, they were playing with the candidates.
