Quick 30-minute interview. The person was just asking the questions and was rude. He faked his experience, saying he has 6.5 years where as he only had 4 years, confirmed by his LinkedIn profile. Not able to properly explain the questions. If you asked for clarification, he would not explain. It felt like someone had given him a list of questions to ask.

1. What is AWS Glue?
2. Asked about a current pipeline you are working on, and why you are using these tools (one cannot satisfy him; he has already decided to find a useless point).
3. SQL query to select the latest/last row inserted (he was unable to explain this question, but this type of query I write on a daily basis) - using rowid and row_number, this can be done easily.
4. Python code to check if file columns are in a specific order and raise an error if they are not; he wanted it with Python assert.
5. Data lake vs. data warehouse.
6. S3 lifecycle.
7. What is AWS Lambda?
8. Do you know AWS Step Functions?
9. How will you schedule a Glue job?
10. What are the data quality checks you perform? - one cannot convince him with this.
