I am currently in my job hunt and have been interviewing for the past week with around 10 companies. It all went well, though I have never done well in some interviews. There is something I learned from that.

But the interview with Deloitte just irritated me. It seriously didn't go well. I'll never blame the company; it's the individual who didn't know how to conduct the interview, and I don't think he is technically sound either.

I never received the JD, but my interview got scheduled directly. Since it was a data engineering technical discussion round, I prepared myself for Spark, SQL, and my project work.

During my project explanation on Spark itself, he stopped me and asked, "You seem like a cloud engineering guy. What about data engineering, tell me?"

I was like, "What, seriously!!!"

He never asked me anything about Spark, never went further on SQL or any data engineering concepts, and never tried to understand my capabilities. He just started raising his voice to show off his dominance, and I was completely blanked out. So, I never wanted to proceed further, and all my answers to further questions were only 'no'.

Nothing much. Poor interviewer! I wish I could give my interview again with a good interviewer in the near future.
