Process

There were three rounds to be specific:

  1. Round 1 was a recorded HireVue test consisting of technical questions around tools and technologies.
  2. Round 2 was a 30-minute technical discussion with the Hiring Manager.
  3. Round 3 was a discussion with the Partner, where he just conveyed the urgency, discussed salary, and asked to wait for HR.
  4. HR contacted me and lowballed the salary, ignoring my work area and experience. They sent me an email with the salary discussed, joining date, and further details, and asked me to accept the offer by mail while waiting for the offer letter. I did send a confirmation email.

It took nearly a month for HR to postpone further communication. When I pressed them to tell the truth, they told me that the company was putting my offer on hold indefinitely.

Not a good experience. It wasted two months just to get follow-ups and hear in the end that all this exercise was a waste.
