Front End Developer Interview Experience - India

Process

The process took an entire month to reach the 4th round.

There were 4 rounds of interviews: 1 screening, 2 technical, and 1 HR and culture fit.

They seem to be interviewing more people than they can handle. Interviewers are least interested in taking interviews and more inclined towards telling you that you don't have strong skills, and still end up selecting you. A lot depends on the type of interviewer they assign you.

Questions

Screening round: Namesake round to know technology stack and projects worked before.

Technical round 1: Basic ES6 promises (syntax, uses), async/await, call/apply/bind, diff. display and visibility, position CSS, some output questions.

Technical round 2: Horrible interviewer, rude and asking irrelevant questions, unrelated to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Angular. Stuck on domain and URLs for 1 hour and still disappointed on my face that I did not have strong skills. One JS question and one CSS question, both one-liners.

HR: Why Deloitte? Convince them you really want to join them. Other than that, given some scenarios, how would you handle the situation.
