I got a call 1 day before and was just asked to brief on my skills and experience.
Interview scheduled at 11 am.
I did not have any idea how many rounds.
First Tech round: All levels of technical questions. Cobol, JCL, DB2, including error codes.
Second Tech round: IMS process questions, logical questions.
Managerial round: Asked different questions on team handling, challenges, risk, etc.
Waited till 6 pm. Asked 3 guys (including me) to wait for another round. It was over phone. The other two had 2 rounds, and this was the 3rd round for them. Since I completed 3 rounds, I asked for clarity. One guy told me you have to attend this and then the HR round.
Then another guy told me, if you have already attended 3 rounds, you can leave now and we will check the feedback and let you know.
If that was the case, why did I wait for 4 hours?
Overall experience was not good. Not mature interviews. Not organized, structured. Very poor. Contacted the Talent team, and there was no response.
Lot of people waited till 6:30 and finally, they told us we will schedule for another day. Is that fair?
There were only 2 senior managers to interview, and even I didn't know who took my 3rd round interview. I was like, ahhhhhhh.
What is SQL code? (811, -922). NULL indicator, DB2 bind, reorg, JCL questions, sort, COBOL search, search all, arrays, ABENDs, etc.
