The first recruiter contacted me for a 30-minute call to discuss the role.
Then, I moved to the interview stage.
There was a 1-hour technical interview in which the interviewer asked questions around front-end development, testing, React, Redux, and hooks.
Once the interview was done, the recruiter ghosted me for several weeks, even when I tried to follow up multiple times.
Then, I got an email saying I would be moving to the next stage and scheduled a 1-hour managerial round. It went well; they just asked questions on project management, Scrum, etc.
The next day, I got an email from the recruiter that they liked me and were willing to offer 85k in Phoenix, Arizona, and asked if I wanted to move ahead with the offer letter process. I said yes and got no reply from the recruiter.
Then I followed up after 2 weeks. The recruiter said they were still in the process of getting approvals.
I followed up 2 weeks later with no reply.
Then 1 week later with no reply.
One fine day, I got a generic reject email for the position I applied for from Deloitte.
So, guys, don't waste your time.
