The whole interview process was stupid.
I applied for the Senior Java Developer position.
I was asked to take a CoCubes test. After 9 days, I got a call from HR saying I cleared the test. I was then asked to attend the next round, which was technical + managerial. I was told this round would be split into two panels: one for technical and another for managerial.
I was so excited and confident that I would be a part of a giant like Deloitte, and prepared myself to attend the interview.
On the interview day, the HR called in the morning and said the panel was not available at 5 p.m., so we will reschedule it to 2 p.m. I agreed and joined the Zoom interview. First, the HR pulled me into the room and connected me to the Technical Panel.
I was fully prepared to answer whatever they asked me.
The interviewer greeted me and asked about my previous experience. I answered it, and the next question was, "What do you do in case the JAVA application is lagging or running very slow?" I answered it, and she said, "OK, now you can proceed to the next panel."
The next panel was Managerial. I was asked how I am maintaining work-life balance during WFH. I answered it, and she said, "Well done, I'm done with the interview."
After another 9 days of wait, I received an email saying I was not selected.
Technical - What will you do if a Java application is slow or lagging?
Managerial - How are you maintaining work-life balance during WFH?
