I attended a Deloitte interview through a consultancy. I was given an interview time of 2:30 PM, but they called me at 4:00 PM. Fine. When I entered the interview room, there were two guys. First, they said, "It's a contract position. Are you interested? If yes, then we will start." I asked them how many months the contract would be, and they replied, "We don't know. How will we know?" Again, one of them said, "The position is mainly for SQL Server, and in the JD of the call letter, it's mentioned .NET, SQL, and HTML. They are not looking for .NET." If they are not looking for .NET, why did they mention it in the JD at all?
The interviewer asked some stupid questions, hardly 4 to 5 questions, and then he said he was done.
I was like, "What? You are done?"
What's the point of conducting an interview at all? Why waste so many members' time?
Very worst interview experience.
Very basic questions about performance and DNS.
