Interview process and Hiring

I had an interview on July 8th, 2017, in Hyderabad. The interview process took almost 7 hours. I cleared 2 technical rounds, 1 English Versant test, 1 written assignment, and also the HR discussion at the end.

HR assured me that I would get a call within 2 working days, i.e., on Tuesday, to get the confirmation of joining and salary package.

Today, it is almost 15 days. There is no update from the recruiting team, even after 2 follow-up emails. HR promised that they would update us by email or by phone call. It shows worthless professionalism to not even reply to follow-up mails.

It shows that unnecessary interview drives are conducted, and it is a time-killing process for almost 7-8 hours.

It would be good if the recruiting team at least updated the status, like the interview panel is currently unavailable, or else at least intimated about the next level.

I hope this process changes for such a reputed company.
