Deloitte was a decent place to work, but it has many challenges that need to be addressed by senior management

Software Developer • Former Employee

Hermitage, Tennessee, United States

Pros: Various professional development opportunities are provided. Some are onsite, some local, and some at distant locations. IT staff are qualified and usually friendly to work with. Supplied materials (e.g., computers) are adequate.

Cons: There is a heavy focus on using offshore resources without consideration of whether doing so is successful. Due to the low quality of work performed by the offshore resources, a lot of rework is necessary. Local staff are put in a challenging position since they have to get stuck in the middle between management and offshore resources.
