Online Application: Submitted resume and cover letter through the Deloitte careers portal.
Initial Screening (30 minutes): Conducted by a recruiter over Zoom. Basic behavioral questions about teamwork, leadership, and why Deloitte. Asked about knowledge of Deloitte's services and recent industry trends.
First Round Interview (45 minutes): Two-part interview: Behavioral: Focused on STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) format questions. Example: "Tell me about a time you handled a difficult team situation." Case Study: Market sizing case — "Estimate the size of the U.S. coffee market." The interviewer was friendly and gave hints when I got stuck.
Final Round Interview (1 hour): Two interviews with senior consultants: Behavioral: More in-depth questions about leadership and problem-solving. Case Study: Profitability case — "A client’s profit margins are declining; how would you diagnose the issue?" Follow-ups focused on how I structured my answer and my thought process. Also asked about Deloitte’s core values and how they align with my career goals.
