I felt that management's primary focus was on ensuring rigorous work was completed, with little regard for the well-being of employees. Their priority seemed to be getting the job done, regardless of how you felt about it.
I had a manager who didn't value my input, made all decisions unilaterally, and micromanaged everything. It was the most difficult experience I've had with a manager.
The company places results above all else, even if it means fostering a toxic environment. I often felt undervalued and overworked.
