Not a technical role unless you work hard to find it
- Company culture was great.
- Benefits definitely helped me out.
- Once I did get around to doing technical work, I very much felt that I was contributing to the team.
- Felt like an employee rather than just another intern.
- Work/Life Balance was great. They highly emphasized to not overdo it and learn to say no to tasks when your plate is full.
Despite advertising a technical job description, I quickly found out that it was more of a consulting position.
I had to have talks with my manager to be able to pivot to more technical work, but this was after a month of doing Powerpoint slides.
Advertise the job description right.
