The culture is great as a whole. The company really cares about the little guy, and they have a lot of initiatives that focus on those who did not have a voice for so long. They also have great programs that provide incentives to work there and love throwing out bonuses or monetary gifts periodically.
Also, if you don't like where you are, there are plenty of job opportunities, and you can look to make a move out of one team to another if you have worked here for more than a year.
I work in the Shared Security Services side of Global, and it has been a miserable experience for the last few years. New management came in and completely uprooted teams and changed leadership. They also wasted a lot of money on cybersecurity initiatives/projects that I feel are going nowhere. I don't trust my layers of management up to the MD, and I am looking to move to another team outside of Shared Security Services.
I hope the executives pay close attention to the people being directed by the MDs. I would like them to take complaints against them seriously and investigate the core behavior of these people, as it is taking away from what I loved about Deloitte's culture.
Also, for the regular people having the issues I have, document everything your manager does, including behavior that is complacent, ignorant, or arrogant. If you ever decide to go to HR, you will need to give examples of this behavior.
