A lot of exposure to new technologies and new people. I definitely gained confidence by working in a high-visibility workplace. Coming from the non-profit space, the transition was definitely fairly easy with the Green Dot program and members of my team.
How much you enjoy your time there is dependent on the projects you work with, which is primarily determined by the people you work with and the clients you interact with.
Some directors are more understanding than others and are willing to work with you to find the right fit for you. Some directors don't and prioritize results over the individual.
