Pros
  1. Good benefits
  2. Well-being is always a priority
Cons
  1. Most of the policies are driven by the US, so USI leadership doesn't have any significant role in the business.

  2. It's a typical service-based organization where bureaucracy is everywhere.

  3. Not good for technical people; they have limited growth in this organization.

  4. There's too much favoritism and bias in performance management. People easily get promoted if they are a favorite of senior management. Work is always secondary.

  5. Who can talk well, present better, and gets good ratings. Groundwork doesn't matter.

  6. The USI team is considered as contractors by the US people overall. I mean, the partnership between US and USI is missing. US people always drive USI folks. In case the US counterpart is not competent enough, then it creates more frustration among USI.

Advice to Management

USI should be considered an equal partner for US folks, and opportunities should be distributed equally between US and USI.

Management should learn how any offshore-onshore setup works in the IT sector.

USI should get some authorization and empowerment to run independently and support US businesses.
