Don't trust Deloitte regarding initiating a green card, even if you get email confirmation while getting recruited. The recruiter confirmed this during onboarding, stating they would initiate the green card in 6 months of hiring.
After getting hired, the scenario totally changed. The HR and immigration team don't care about the email and promises made by the recruiter during onboarding. I see this has happened with many Deloitte employees.
There are many cases where they recruit people based on a green card initiation commitment, then put them in a max-out situation, and lastly say that the employee does not have enough time left to initiate the process.
