A very clan-based company. The fresh grads who grow within the company (Senior Consultant or lower) have a much greater possibility of success versus experienced hires who join mid-stream.
The above could be good for strategy projects and not for real-world projects, where real-world experience matters, not just home-grown experience.
Recognize experienced hires, the experience they bring, and provide them opportunities. Leverage their experience, not always the network or homegrown talent.
Also, the review system allows carte blanche to the counselors and leadership, without any onus on the leadership.
