Pros

Great gym, good place to have on your CV. Really reasonable canteen where you can get a good breakfast for under £3.

Cons

No career development; management didn't really know what to do with me.

Appraisals were just box-ticking exercises, like a lot of things that company does.

Weird place to work; everything has to be logged into SAP or you will be punished!

Benefits are crap, really, compared to other companies, and the way they administer them is terrible. If the benefits package is being sold to you as amazing, and you're not in a management position or above, it's not worth it.

The shared services center is dire. So, if you have any IT or HR issues/questions, you're passed around departments until being directed to some intranet page which isn't really much help.

Their hardware is terrible. They are fixing this now by giving everyone touch-screen laptops with Windows 8.1 on them. My laptop, given to me when I started, with its 2GB of RAM, can barely cope with all of the company software running in the background, causing other apps to crash.
