The recruiter was six minutes late for the phone screen and only called after I sent a follow-up email stating I was waiting.
Once on the call, he was completely unprepared, mumbling, and unable to ask me any questions or answer mine. If he hadn't provided an official email, I would have suspected a scam, but it was legitimate.
He didn't sound excited about the company either. He couldn't clearly state what information he needed from me (beyond the introduction) and couldn't provide details about the role. It was the most unprofessional phone screen I've ever experienced.
So, what did you do?
And so, AWS? What was that about?
And so on. It was supposed to be a simple introductory call, but due to the unprofessionalism of a recruiter, it turned out to be a long, nonsensical call.
