Applied in October and received a reply five weeks later. I went through a phone screen and two technical interviews that were pretty straightforward.
For some bizarre reason, Disney shares the same "virtual meeting room" with other colleagues or candidates. This resulted in three separate instances where:
I am pretty sure that this actually cost me the job at the last interview. We started late, and while we were still in the middle of it, the interviewer asked if I had another 30 minutes. I said yes, then two random people joined the call.
After this debacle, the recruiter said she'd get back to me but never did. I sent numerous emails but never got anything back, not even a rejection.
So, Disney, please fix your meeting system and please don't ghost your candidates.
