Process

I had two phone interviews.

The first one was with the recruiter, to assess my general background and experience in the field. The recruiter aimed to determine my interest in the position, my willingness to relocate, and my salary expectations.

The second phone interview was with the senior engineer on the team for which I was being interviewed. He asked me a series of technical questions, testing my basic knowledge of software engineering, operating systems, SQL, data structures, algorithms, Linux, and problem-solving skills.

Although I was unable to complete all the questions and topics successfully, the engineer was willing to explain anything I missed or didn't know. He was quite helpful in informing me of things I couldn't solve, aiding me in learning from those problems.
