I had connections at Disney and managed to get my resume straight to a recruiter.
After that, I was scheduled for an interview with a recruiter. This call lasted less than 5 minutes, and I was told it was just a formality as the team already wished to speak to me.
After that, I was scheduled for a Zoom meeting with a panel of 5 engineers (Product Owner, some senior-level software engineers, and some general software engineers). This interview lasted a little over an hour and covered primarily background material and hypothetical questions. It contained no technical LeetCode-style questions.
After that final interview, it took about 4 weeks before I got a decision back, totaling about 7 weeks from the time I applied to the time I received a decision.
