A pretty typical interview pipeline for a larger company:
I'm really disappointed in the recruiter who assisted me, though. During our first interaction, they called me by someone else's name, and I questioned whether or not I should even be in the process. Next, after I completed my full interview day, they took nearly three weeks to get back to me. Apparently, they had gone on vacation, and I received a templated decline response with no feedback or reasons why.
It's sad that I wasted weeks of effort and worry on a job I honestly really wanted. I almost fear my recruitment coordinator's vacation time delayed their hiring process, so they just went with another candidate for the job. I'm really upset.
