WDI is a great place to be challenged to see the world from alternate points of view, meet exciting, engaging, and driven professionals, and contribute to the creation of some of the best destination entertainment product in the world.
Working at WDI can be a very charged experience. Most people in the organization are so dedicated to quality and performance that the environment can be stressful and biased towards providing a great guest product at the expense of individual employee well-being.
There is a current trend to empower the creativity and education of current employees. I would encourage this diversification of responsibility to continue, allowing more flexibility and value to move into the hands of the individuals doing the work.
The interview questions were very practical, unlike those at some other high-level companies. I did not feel like they were trying to put me through the wringer, as they could have.
Interviewed through a consultation company. One round with Disney leadership (Data Team Lead, Software Team Lead, Project Manager), where they took turns asking questions. Next round was with a Data Analyst and Data Engineer, in a similar format.
