Great company - strict promotion policies
The company is great, with lots of good experiences gained in a short amount of time. There is a high level of responsibility and ample opportunity to learn internally and professionally.
Promotions in IT are now quite restrictive. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required before you can get promoted past associate, and a minimum of 7 years for senior. This is quite frustrating if you're a fast learner and can do higher-level work with less experience.
Remove strict years of experience requirements from the job leveling guide. They cause the company to lose good people because they can easily get promoted elsewhere.
