Pros
  • Great snack bar
  • Cool events
  • It's Disney and everyone knows the name
  • Beautiful campus with cute ducks
  • Good break in experience
Cons
  • Management was terrible, and at times would flirt with contract hires.
  • Contract hires could not participate in all events and discounts permanent employees received.
  • Motivated contract employees with permanent positions like a carrot on a stick.
  • Constant politics and run like a high school.
  • Contract employees began to try to step over each other and fight for a permanent position.
  • Seniors and managers would constantly be on phones and sites that aren't work-related.
  • Hired people who had no experience at all with the subject worked on.
  • Strict work policies that did not apply to those who enforced them.
  • If you are good at flirting, you can get ahead.
Advice to Management
  • Keep people who know what they are doing.
  • Keep people for bug quality, not so much the quantity.
  • This is a professional workplace, not high school.
  • Do not make false promises.
  • Do not fire employees for project blunders and poor business decisions and ethics made by upper management; take responsibility for your own poor decisions.
