There is an aura of enchantment when working with Disney. There are some great people at Disney, and the opportunity to do something exciting is there. Disney's next-level leadership is open and willing to support the team. The cybersecurity team on which I worked is doing an amazing job of identifying and tracking security challenges.
Some technical choices are made by "bean counters" instead of looking at what makes the most sense. In the world of cyber-security, the focus should be on having a strong team using the best tools. Cutting staff and focusing on the price of tools is a very short-sighted approach, which ultimately will be very expensive.
Diversity and inclusion programs actively promote "non-traditional lifestyles" while disregarding traditional moral or religious views.
Focus on the basics. Go back to treating customers as guests while Disney still has the magic. The park experience has suffered greatly over the past few years, with guests paying a premium to enjoy the magic and then being unable to fully enjoy the parks.
